Why I am Running

Milton is at a crossroads. We face real financial headwinds, hard budget decisions, and real questions about our schools and our future. This town needs steady, competent, caring leadership right now.

Every day I lead a team of nurses, surgeons, and administrators through complex decisions where the stakes are high and the margin for error is small. I build consensus among people with competing priorities. I manage tight budgets with discipline and transparency. I advocate for resources at the state and national level and I know how to get results. We should get creative about ways to generate and manage our revenue streams and share the burden our residents feel. These are exactly the skills Milton needs on the Select Board.

Last year I went through breast cancer treatment. That experience deepened my commitment to the work that matters most — caring for the people around me. Now I want to bring that same care to every neighbor in every corner of Milton. I’m a mom, a town meeting member, a collaborative, forward thinking leader, ready to serve!

That is who I am. And that is why I am running.
